Happy 59th Birthday to Curtis Strange, the PGA Tour’s First Million-Dollar Man

Galleries, Photos

Happy 59th birthday to Curtis Strange, born Jan. 30, 1955. Strange is the winner of the 1988 and 1989 U.S. Opens, and the only player to win back-to-back U.S. Opens since Ben Hogan did in 1950-51. After his 1988 season, Strange became the first player in PGA Tour history to top $1 million in one season.
